| Overall
Purpose: |
| Work
closely with the top team members to identify manage and deliver new
key business sales opportunities and profitable growth. To enhance
the general awareness of the CAIP brand and influence perceptions
and positioning of it within our markets. Building strong, long term
relationships with new and existing clients at corporate level. Acting as the clients
"Champion" to solve his problems, ensuring the
level of service he gets from CAIP exceeds his expectations and
secures repeat business. |

Principal Job Responsibilities: |
|
Business Development |
Develop
a business plan in conjunction with the operations team for
agreement with the Board and take responsibility for delivering the
agreed sales targets. |
Grow
the business through increased volumes of existing business and by
the generation of new, sustainable repeat business. |
Maintain regular contact with all business contacts to understand
their needs and to gather information so as to provide the correct
business direction for CAIP. |
Develop
relationships with clients so a growing reputation and workload is
maintained. |
Identify new opportunities with existing clients and potential
clients. |
Identify new service offerings for which there may be a need or
developing need in the market place and develop opportunities with
the Directors. |
Identify, source and arrange regular, effective client entertainment
in line with agreed budget. |

Financial |
Responsibility for achieving the sales forecast. |
Responsibility for the revenues from new business to ensure that
they equal or exceed business development forecast. |
Control
and use entertainment budget to achieve maximum impact within the
restraints of the budget. |
|
Reporting |
Implement systems and information gathering to compile monthly
reports in a timely manner and for presentation at board meetings. |
Give
regular business development feedback at business development
meetings and board meetings. |
Attending board meetings reporting on all aspects of the months
progress, events and news. |
Attend
monthly finance meeting and report on all aspects of activities. |

Relations - Client |
Ensure
Client relations are maintained in a mutually beneficial state. |
Liaise
with Client on all aspects of the business. |
Ensure
problems are dealt with pro-actively and in a timely manner. |
|
Relations - Internal |
Work
with all team members to achieve the company's targets and goals. |
Ensure
staff are motivated, monitored, targeted, and appraised and feel
part of the team and fully understand what is expected of them and
how they can achieve CAIP's objectives. |
|
Relations - Suppliers |
Ensure
relations are maintained in a state that is beneficial to both
companies. |
Nurture
and help new starts or smaller businesses so we can develop a
beneficial relationship. |
| General |
Continually develop sales collateral and literature. |
Always
act in an ethical and professional manner and uphold the reputation
of the Company. |

Qualifications and Experience (E = Essential, D = Desirable): |
5 to 10
years management experience in the provision of infrastructure
services to operators in the telecom, rail and /or technology
sectors (E). |
Demonstrable experience in key account business development (E). |
Strong commercial awareness (E). |
Proven Project Management skills (D). |
Computer Skills including excel, word, and powerpoint (E). |
Health Safety & CDM awareness (D).
