Bench Test Facility Saves the Day (Dec 2006) |
| CAIP's rigging
division - Spectrum, quite literally saves the day. Given the
large quantity of pre-used and second hand equipment in the network

The Facility, which
allows the pre-testing of all types of equipment before going into
service, highlighted the pre-failures of 12 equipment items destined
for the field. In real terms, these 12 failures would have
resulted in lost integrations and aborted days, both of which were
mitigated by the early identification of failing parts.
